The RBM100 is a Reb Beach series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1994 . It is a signature model of American guitarist Reb Beach, who is best known for his work in the melodic rock band Winger. The RBM100 was made in Japan by FujiGen. It replaced the RBM2.
The RBM body style is the second unique body shape used by Beach after the modified Explorer styled WRB3 model. The body, which was designed by Reb Beach himself, features a deep cutaway at the back of the body all the way to the tremolo. It is also known as Voyager style.
The RBM100 features a mahogany body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with clay dot position markers. Components include Ibanez pickups with a humbucker at the bridge and single coil-sized humbuckers in the middle and neck positions, a Lo Pro-Edge double locking tremolo bridge and gold hardware.
The RBM10 is a less expensive version which was made in Korea. The RBM400 is a similar model with a Bolivian rosewood neck and fretboard.
The RBM100 was sold only in Europe and Japan and was discontinued after 1994.
