The RB960 is a "Deluxe" edition Roadstar II Bass series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1985. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen.

The RB960 features a double-cutaway alder body with arched top and ivory and black binding bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position marker, side dots and a matching headstock. Components include a pair of "Ibanez Low Impedance" Super J6 active pickup's, an Accu-cast B II bridge with 19mm string spacing, a graphite nut, Ibanez Smooth Tuner BII tuning machines and Ibanez "Dead End" strap buttons.

The RB850 is a related model with black hardware.

The RB960 was only offered in 1985.
