The RB845 is a "Deluxe" edition Roadstar II Bass series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1984. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen.
The RB824 features a double-cutaway alder body with arched top bolted to a maple neck with a fret-less rosewood fingerboard with 24 fret lines and white dot position markers, white side dots and a matching headstock. Components include a pair of Ibanez HI-B passive pickup's, an Accu-cast B II bridge with 19mm string spacing, a plastic nut, Ibanez Smooth Tuner BII tuning machines and Ibanez "Dead End" strap buttons.
The RB824 is a related fretted model with basswood body. The RB924 is related model.
The RB845 was discontinued after 1986.
