The RB830 is a "32 inch" medium scale Roadstar II Bass series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1987. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen.

The RB830 features a double-cutaway basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position marker, side dots and a matching headstock. Components include a precision P50 pickup and jazz J50 pickup, an Ibanez Accu-cast BII bridge with 19mm string spacing, a graphite nut and Ibanez Smooth Tuner BII tuning machines.

The RB835 is a related model.

The RB830 was discontinued after 1989.
