The RB820 is a "Deluxe" edition Roadstar II Bass series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1983. It was produced at the Terada Plant in Japan.
The RB820 features a double-cutaway alder and birch body with arched top bolted to a maple neck with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers and white side dots and a maple headstock. Components include a Super J6 passive pickup, an Accu-cast B II bridge with 19mm string spacing, a plastic nut, Velve tune B II tuning machines and Ibanez "Dead End" strap buttons.
