The RB800 is a "Deluxe" edition Roadstar II Bass series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1987. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen.
The RB800 features a double-cutaway basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position marker, side dots and a matching headstock. Components include LO-J "low impednace" precision pickup on the neck position and LO-J "low impednace" jazz pickup on the bridge position with a 2-Band EQ active preamp, an Omni-Adjust bridge with 19mm string spacing, a graphite nut and Ibanez Smooth Tuner BII tuning machines.
