The RB690 is a Roadstar II Bass series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1986. It was produced in Japan.

The RB690 features a double-cutaway contoured basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position marker, side dots and a matching headstock. Components include a pair of J50 pickup's with an Ibanez EQB II active tone system preamp, an Accu-cast B II bridge with 19mm string spacing, a plastic nut, black hardware and Ibanez Smooth Tuner BII tuning machines.

The RB690 was only offered in 1986.
