The R470 is a Radius series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1992. It was made in Japan by FujiGen.

The R470 features a basswood body bolted to a maple Ultra neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot position markers. Components include Ibanez pickups with a pair of humbuckers mounted in pickup rings flanking a single-coil and a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge.

The 440R is a similar model with a humbucker/ single/ single pickup configuration.

The R470 was discontinued after 1993.
