The R4131E22J4 is a limited edition RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2021. It was made in Japan by Sugi as part of the high end J Custom line. It is a spot model which is sold exclusively by select Japanese and European music retailers. It's also referred to as the R4131E22J4-31E
The R4131E22J4 features a poplar burl top on a lightweight swamp ash body bolted to a maple and purpleheart asymmetric Super Wizard neck with selected wenge fretboard with pearl and abalone Tree of Life inlays. Components include a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a pair of DiMarzio Fusion Edgehumbucking pickups & Gotoh tuning machines.
The R4131E22J4 was limited to only 8 pieces worldwide and were produced only in 2021.
