R102 Natural Red copyright sprite

The R102 is an R series 12-string acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1994. It was produced in Korea.

The R102 features a new ragtime body with cedar top on nato back and sides. The round soundhole has an oriental mosaic pattern. The mahogany neck has a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with white side dots. Components include a plastic saddle in a fancy compensated rosewood bridge with white bridge pins, a bone nut, and Classic chrome machines heads.


The R100 is a six-string version. The R200S is a related model with solid spruce top on bird's eye maple and gold classic machine heads.

The R102 was discontinued after 1994.
