The Ibanez Premium series is a series of electric guitars produced by Hoshino Gakki, introduced in 2011. It is a quality label Ibanez uses for Indonesian made but higher-grade guitar models.
As of 2011, all models labeled Premium are part of the RG series. These include the RG870Z, RG870QMZ and RG920QMZ. Like the Prestige series models, the Premium models feature a five-piece laminated neck. Other features include both Ibanez and DiMarzio made pickups, the new Edge Zero II tremolo and for the RG870QMZ and RG920QMZ a quilted maple veneer top.
