The Power Curve III is a preamp unit installed in some Ibanez electric bass models.

The Power Curve III was introduced for 2009 in the Soundgear Prestige SR5000E and related models. It features a 3-band equalizer with individual controls which can boost or cut treble, bass, or midrange frequencies by up to 12dB.[1] In addition it has a mid-frequency selector which allows the player to dial in the mid-frequency crossover frequencies to get the precise tone they want to achieve. It also supports an EQ bypass toggle which allows the signal direct from the pickups to be output.[2]

The electronics package of the Power Curve III consists of a PCB board with quick-connect ports to connect the various potentiometers and switch controls.

It was discontinued after 2015.
