The Prestige Uppercut series is a line of electric guitars produced by Hoshino Gakki and sold under the Ibanez brand. The line was introduced in 2014 as a subseries of the Prestige line. Prestige indicates that an instrument is built to the rigorous quality standards, with the high quality components and unique features. The models in the line are produced by FujiGen Gakki in Japan.
The Prestige Uppercut line is distinguished by the use of Bare Knuckle pickups which are made in England. In terms of price, the models in the Prestige Uppercut line generally slot between the "regular" Prestige line and the even higher end J Custom line. (more...)
