The FA and FG models are a line of hollow body electric guitars produced for Hoshino Gakki and sold under the Ibanez brand. The FA body type is a full-size, full-hollow, electric guitar body with a single Venetian cutaway. The FA line was introduced for 1977.
Four FA models were introduced in 1977, with two more model coming the following year. The FG100 replaced the FA100 for 1982; it was the only FG model offered. The AF200 (1988–2003) superseded the FG100 for 1988 and marked the start of the AF line which continues through today. (more...)
