The Performance series is a line of acoustic and acoustic/ electric guitar models produced for Hoshino Gakki and sold under the Ibanez brand.
The Performace series started in 1986 as an affordable alternative compared to Artwood series or Vintage series models.
The guitars were all made in Korea including mostly Dreadnought bodies with or without cutaway but occasionally includes grand concerts, mini jumbo and parlor models with spruce or cedar tops. Production moved to China in 2000 and some models have been produced in Indonesia since the mid-2010s.
