The PS4CM is a solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2020. It is a signature model of guitarist Paul Stanley of the American hard rock band KISS. The PS4CM was built in Japan by Sugi.
The most striking visual feature of the PS4CM is the cracked acrylic gold mirror top which mimics an earlier Paul Stanley custom model. It features the iconic Ibanez Iceman body style.
The PS4CM features a maple top with abalone purfling and cream binding on an African mahogany body mated to a set-in neck with a smooth heel and a 22-fret ebony fingerboard with cream binding and acrylic and abalone split block position markers. Components include a Tune-o-matic style Gotoh GE103B-T fixed bridge and a Gotoh GE103B-T tailpiece, dual Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups with individual volume controls, a bone & brass nut, Sure Grip II knobs and Gotoh tuning machines.
The PS1CM is a similar model with a silver mirror top and silver hardware which was introduced in 2015. The PS2CM is a similar model with a purple mirror top which was introduced in 2017.
The PS4CM was offered worldwide in 2020, but distribution was limited to Japan in 2021. Its believed that production of the PS4CM was limited to just 18 pieces. It was discontinued after 2022.
