The PS10LTD is a solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1995. It is a signature model of guitarist Paul Stanley of the American hard rock band KISS. It was made in Japan by Terada.
The PS10LTD features a mahogany body with maple top and back mated to a smooth heel set-in maple neck with bound ebony fingerboard with block inlays. The body has a deluxe abalone binding which extends to the headstock. Components include a fixed bridge with sustain block and decorative tailpiece and dual Ibanez Vintage humbucking pickups with individual volume controls. It has a gold pickguard and signed gold truss rod cover. Each example came with a certificate of authenticity signed by Stanley.
Stanley is said not to have liked the gold hardware on this model.[1]
The PS10II is a less deluxe version which was manufactured in Korea. The PS10CL essentially replaced the PS10LTD in 1996.
When Stanley split with Ibanez in 1996 he bought up the remaining stock of the PS10LTD and the PS10CL. He sold these via mail order throughout the late 1990s.[2]
