The PR1660 is a Pro Line series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1985.
The PR1660 features a vee-shaped alder body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard with pearloid dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez V5 humbucking pickups mounted in black plastic pickup rings, a Pro Rock'r double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut, knurled metal Tek Grip knobs and Smooth Tuner II machine heads.
The PR1660 was discontinued after 1985. It was replaced by the PL2660.
