The PR1550 is a Pro Line series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1985.

The PR1550 features a double cutaway alder body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret maple fingerboard with black dot position markers. Components include Ibanez pickups with an IBZ humbucker mounted in a black plastic pickup ring at the bridge and Super 7FT single coil pickups with "tub" style mounts at the neck and middle positions, a Pro Rock'r double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut, knurled metal Tek Grip knobs and Smooth Tuner II machine heads.

Rather than the usual 3-way toggle or 5-way lever pickup selector, the PR1550 has an independent mini-toggle switch paired with each of the three pickups. In addition it has a Duo Sound push-push coil-split switch on the tone control.

The PR1440 is a similar model with a rosewood fretboard and slightly rounder body contours.

The PR1550 was discontinued after 1985.
