The PN15E is a Performance series acoustic/ electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in mid 2014. It was made in China and was a spot model which never appeared in a catalog.
The PN15E features a parlor body with a laminated spruce top on mahogany back and sides. The round soundhole has a black and white acrylic rosette. The mahogany neck has an 18-fret rosewood fingerboard with small white dot position markers. Components include a compensated plastic saddle in a rosewood bridge with ivory Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a plastic nut, and chrome Ibanez tuning machines. Electronics consist of an Ibanez under saddle pickup connected to an AEQ2T preamp with on-board tuner powered by a 9V battery and a 1/4" stereo end-pin output jack.
The PN15 is a similar standard acoustic model. The PF15ECE and PC15ECE are related models with, respectively, dreadnought and grand concert cutaway bodies.
