The PM35 is a hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2008. It is a signature model for American jazz guitarist and composer Pat Metheny. It was made in China as a less expensive alternative to the flagship PM100.
The PM35 features a full-sized, full hollow body design with a maple top with a single, rounded Venetian cutaway, ƒ holes and multi-layer binding on maple back and sides mated to a set-in maple and bubinga neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and abalone block position markers. Components include a single Ibanez Super 58 Custom humbucking pickups with gold cover installed at the neck, an ART-1 Tune-o-matic style bridge floating on a wood base with a trapeze tailpiece, a plastic nut, rosewood knobs, and Ibanez tuning machines.
The PM35 was discontinued after 2012 and replaced with the PM2.
