PIB3

The PIB3 is a five string solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2014. It is a signature model for Swedish bassist Peter Iwers. It was produced in Indonesia, replacing the PIB2.

The PIB3 features a Soundgear series double-cutaway mahogany body bolted to a maple and rosewood neck with a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard with special PIB inlay. Components include a pair of Ibanez CAP EXF-N2 passive humbucking bass pickups with an Ibanez EQB-IIID preamp with 3-band equalizer, a set of individually mounted Mono-rail IV bridges, a plastic nut and Gotoh tuners.

The PIB3 was discontinued after 2017.
