The PGMM21 is a PGM series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2019. It is a signature model of American guitarist Paul Gilbert and is the second short-scale miKro signature model produced for Gilbert. It is produced in China.
The PGMM21 features a poplar body bolted to a 22.2" scale maple neck with a reversed headstock and a 24-fret treated New Zealand pine fretboard with white dot position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Infinity R humbucking pickups and an F106 fixed bridge.
As with the other Paul Gilbert signature models, the PGMM21 features painted on "f holes" to help camouflage the controls, which consist of only a master volume and a 5-way lever pickup selector.
For 2020 the fretboard was replaced with purpleheart.
The PGMM31 is a similar model with a maple fretboard. The PGMM11 is a similar model with a basswood body and jatoba fretboard.
