The PGM90HAM is a PGM series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1998. It is a signature model of American guitarist Paul Gilbert which was produced by FujiGen in Japan.
The PGM90HAM was a limited edition model made in honor of the 90th anniversary of the Hoshino Gakki company which produces Ibanez guitars. The model name references this — "90HAM" stands for 90th Hoshino Anniversary Model. John Petrucci, Joe Satriani and Steve Vai also received "90HAM" models which were released concurrently. Just 337 PGM90HAM examples were sold worldwide.
The PGM90HAM features include a flamed maple top with abalone purfling and white binding on a basswood body bolted to a maple and bubinga Wizard neck with a reversed headstock and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with binding and offset dot position markers. Components include a DiMarzio pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil, a standard hard-tail bridge and Paul Gilbert's signature painted f-holes.
