The PGM80P is a PGM series solid body electric guitar model made by Ibanez. It is a signature model of American guitarist Paul Gilbert and was introduced in 2015 as a replacement for the PGM401. It is the first Premium line PGM guitar and is based on the PGM800, but with some modifications. The guitar has an ash body, and a Maple/Walnut neck. The pickups are DiMarzio PAF Master in both Bridge and Neck positions, and a DiMarzio PGM Single Coil in the middle position.
This guitar reintroduced the whammy bar to the PGM series, however this time with a vintage style Wilkinson WV6-SB Tremolo Bridge and Gotoh SG381 MG-T Machineheads locking tuners.
