The PGM400 is a PGM series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1993. It is a signature model of American guitarist Paul Gilbert. It was the first limited edition PGM model ever offered and each guitar was signed by Paul Gilbert himself.
Notable features include an alder body, a painted Wizard neck, DiMarzio pickups, the TZ-6 tremolo and Paul Gilbert's signature painted F-holes. The PGM400, along with the PGM80P, are the only PGM with a vintage style tremolo, all others have a double locking tremolo or a fixed bridge.
A more common version of the PGM400 was issued as the PGM500 with slightly different specifications.
