The PF40FMCE is a Performance series acoustic/ electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1995. It was produced in South Korea.
The PF40FMCE features a dreadnought body with a venetian cutaway and a flamed maple top on flamed maple back and sides with a high gloss finish. The round soundhole has a black & white rosette and a black pickguard. The mahogany neck has a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers. Components include a compensated plastic saddle in a rosewood bridge with white bridge pins, a plastic nut, and gold die-cast tuning machines. Electronics consist of an Fishman Matrix pickup with an Active 4-Band parametric EQ and volume and tone controls.
