The PF300CE is a Performance series acoustic-electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1999. It was produced in China.
The PC300CE features a dreadnought body with a hard Florentine cutaway constructed of a laminated spruce top on laminated mahogany sides and back. It has a high gloss finish. The round soundhole has a wood mosaic rosette. The mahogany neck has a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers. Components include a compensated plastic saddle in a rosewood bridge with white bridge pins, a plastic nut, and chrome die-cast tuning machines.
Electronics consist of an Ibanez piezo transducer pickup connected to an Ibanez AEQ30 preamp with three band EQ feeding a ¼" stereo output jack.
For 2002 the pickup was replaced with a Fishman Sonicore and the preamp with an Ibanez AEQ-SS Shape Shifter.
The PF400CE is a similar model with sycamore top. The PC300CE is a related acoustic model with mini-jumbo body.
The PF300CE was discontinued after 2002.
