The PF29CE features a dreadnought body shape with a Venetian cutaway and a spruce top with black and ivory multi-binding on mahogany back and sides with a high gloss finish. The round soundhole has a simple black rosette and a red tortoise pickguard. The mahogany neck has a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and small white dot position markers. Components include a compensated plastic saddle in a rosewood bridge with white Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a plastic nut, and chrome Ibanez tuning machines.
Electronics consist of a Fishman Sonicore undersaddle pickup connected to a Fishman Presys preamp with onboard tuner powered by a 9V battery, and ¼" endpin output.
The PF28CE is a similar model with a black pickguard. The PF29 is a full acoustic version without the cutaway body.
