The PF20 is a Performance series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1986. It was made in Korea.
The PF20 features a dreadnought body with a spruce top on maple back and sides with a low gloss finish. The round soundhole has a black and white rosette and a black pickguard. The mahogany neck has a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with small white dot position markers. Components include a plastic saddle in a rosewood bridge with white bridge pins, a plastic nut, and chrome Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.
For 1989 the neck material was changed to nato wood. For 1990 the materials on the back and sides of the body changed to flamed maple. For 1995 the material on the back and sides were changed to nato, the neck material to mahogany and the bridge pins to black with white dots.
The PF20-12 is a similar 12-string version. The PF10 is a similar model with mahogany on back and sides. The PF30 is a similar model with cedar top and mahogany on back and sides. The PF40 is related model with bird's eye maple on back and sides.
The PF20 was discontinued after 1995.
