The PF18S is a Performance series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1993. It was produced in South Korea.
The PF18S features a dreadnought body with solid spruce top on mahogany back and sides with a black and white binding. The round soundhole has a black and white multi-purfling rosette and a tortoise pickguard. The nato neck has a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers with a custom inlay at 12-fret and a matching headstock. Components include a compensated plastic saddle in a rosewood bridge with black bridge pins, a plastic nut, and chrome Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.
The PF50S is a similar model with rosewood body and mahogany neck. The PF18SCE is a cutaway electric/ acoustic version with a piezo 3-Band EQ.
