The PF10E is a Performance series acoustic-electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1997. It was produced in South Korea.
The PF10E features a dreadnought body with a Venetian cutaway constructed of a laminated spruce top on laminated mahogany sides and back with a high gloss finish. The round soundhole has a black & white waterslide rosette and a black pickguard. The mahogany neck has a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers. Components include a compensated plastic saddle in a rosewood bridge with white bridge pins, a plastic nut, and chrome die-cast tuning machines.
Electronics consist of an undersaddle bar piezo pickup connected to an AEQ-20 preamp with 3-band EQ (bass/ middle/ treble) with presence control and boost powered by a 9 volt battery and feeding a ¼ output jack.
The PF5E is a related acoustic model missing the AEQ-20 preamp. The PF10 is a related acoustic model without the cutaway.
The PF10E was discontinued after 1997. Another PF10E model was introduced in 2006 as part of the IJP5 Jam Pack SE package.
