HS1 DN400
The HS1, an humbucker-sized, single-coil pickup on the DN400 Enlarge sprite

Other pickups made by Ibanez which don't belong to any regular line. Most of them are pickups from the late 80's, mid 90's and not much is known about them.

Some of them are very exclusive pickups which are found on non-standard series.

Super 7F has a flat cover (hidden polepieces)
Super 7FT has a "tub" style direct-mount high tech cover which is designed to offer increased sustain.[4][5]

Description: Delivers powerful, bright tone. 42 gauge wire.[2] Arched bladed bar (58mm x 5mm) balances each string and eliminate volume deterioration caused by string bending. Offers great lows and brilliant highs. Single-coil version of the V5 pickup.[7]

The V7T has identical internals as the V7 with a molded in-body direct mounting cover.[8]

This pickup is not related to the similarly named V7 humbucker.

Description: Introduced in 2009, along with the new Darkstone series (see DN500). The PP1 were re-named CAP-PP1 in 2011.

The tube pole-piece construction of the new pickups designed for the Ibanez Darkstone offers quick response, sparkling clarity and added harmonics for a humbucker sound.
At the same time, humbucker-sized single-coil pickups were also introduced in the Darkstone series, the HS1 pickups (see below).

Description: Humbucker-sized single-coil pickups introduced in 2009 in the Darkstone series, along with the PP1 pickups (see above). Only two models use the HS1, the DN400 and the DN600.
