The NW40 is an Natural Wood series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1982. It was produced in Japan.
The NW40 features a dreadnought body with spruce top on maple back and sides. The round soundhole is trimmed with black and white multi-line rosette and a tortoise pickguard. The maple neck with adjustable truss rod has a 20-fret maple fingerboard with pearl dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include a True-tune saddle on a rosewood bridge, a bone nut, and smooth tuner machine heads.
