The NW340 is an Natural Wood series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1983. It was produced in Japan.
The NW340 features a dreadnought body with spruce top on maple back and sides. The round soundhole is trimmed with black and white multi-line rosette and a tortoise shell pickguard. The maple neck has a 20-fret maple fingerboard with pearl dot position markers ivory binding and a blonde headstock. Components include a True-tune saddle on a rosewood bridge, a bone nut, and smooth tuner machine heads.
The NW310 is a similar model with ceder top, ivory and shell body binding, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and black and white multi-line purfling with shell ring rosette. The NW40 is a very similar model.
