The NDM5 is a solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2020. It is the fifth signature guitar model of Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman, lead guitarist for American band The Offspring. It is produced in Indonesia and replaced the NDM4 which is similar except for the pickups and neck shape.
The NDM5's body style is based on the original Talman series TV shape from the mid 1990's, like the three previous models in the series. The NDM5 features a basswood body bolted to a U-shaped maple neck with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include a pair of soapbar-style Seymour Duncan P90 Stack pickups mounted in a black pickguard, a fixed bridge, and Ibanez tuning machines.
For 2022 the body was changed to American basswood.
The neck style was renamed from "U" to "NDM" for 2021, but the dimensions are unchanged. The neck dimensions changed slightly for 2023.
