The MRG3 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2003. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high end J Custom line. The MRG3 is also referred to as the MRG1FMG and it was a spot model sold exclusively by Japanese retailer Kurosawa Gakki.

The MRG3 features a mahogany body with a flamed maple top bolted to a maple and bubinga Wizard neck with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with flamed maple binding and offset abalone dot position markers. Components include a pair of DiMarzio humbucking pickups, an Edge Pro double locking tremolo bridge and Gotoh tuning machines.

The MRG2 is a similar model with a quilted maple top.

The MRG3 was produced only in 2003.
