The MC924 is an Musician series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1991. It was produced in Japan.
The MC924 features neck-through-body construction on sen attached to a maple neck with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with white dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include an Accu-cast BIV fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, and a pair of Ibanez LO-B pickup's channeled through an EQ BII preamp, a plastic nut, smooth tuner II tuning machines and gold hardware.
For 1992 the body material was changed to Ash.
The MC824 is a similar model with a bolted neck.
The MC924 was discontinued after 1992.
