The MC888F is an Musician series solid body fret-less electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1984. It was produced in Japan.

The MC888F features neck-through-body construction on ash attached to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret-less rosewood fingerboard with white fret lines, white dot position markers and a matching headstock. Components include an Accu-Cast B gold plated fixed bridge with brass, cylindrical saddles and 19mm string spacing, and a pair of Super (J5/P5) pickups, a plastic nut, Velve Tune B II tuning machines and gold hardware.

The MC888 is the fretted version.

The MC888F was offered only in 1984.
