The MC2924 is a Musician series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1986. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen. The MC2924 replaced the MC924.
The MC2924 features neck-through-body construction on ash body attached to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with pearl dot position markers. Components include an Accu-cast BII fixed bridge with 19mm string spacing, and a pair of Ibanez LO-B pickup's channeled through a 2-Band EQ, a plastic nut, smooth tuner II tuning machines and gold hardware.
