The MA3HSH is an American Master series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1990. The American Master line features guitars that are completely handmade in the United States.[1]
The MA3HSH features neck-thru-the-body construction with mahogany body wings and a maple top attached to a maple Wizard neck with a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with pearl & abalone block position markers. As the model name implies it has an HSH pickup configuration with DiMarzio humbuckers mounted in pickup rings at the bridge and neck flanking a single-coil. Components include an Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
The MA3HH is a similar model without the middle pickup. The MA2HSH is a related model with basswood wings and oval fretboard inlays.
The MA3HSH was offered only in 1990. The MA1FM & MA1QM followed in 1991.
