The M700S is an F-style acoustic mandolin model introduced by Ibanez for 2015. It is made in China.
The M700S features an F-style mandolin body with a solid engraved Sitka spruce top with ƒ holes on a solid engraved flame maple back and flamed maple sides with a high gloss finish. It has a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and ivoroid dot position markers. For 2018 the rosewood fretboard bridge and saddle were replaced with purpleheart and the rosewood pickguard was replaced with ovangkol.
