The M510EG is an A-style acoustic/ electric mandolin model introduced by Ibanez in mid 2015. It is a spot model which was made in China.
The M510EG features an A-style mandolin body with a spruce top with ƒ holes on a flamed maple back and sides with a high gloss finish. It has a mahogany neck with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and acrylic block position markers. Components include a purpleheart saddle on a rosewood bridge, a plastic nut, gold open gear tuning machines with pearl acrylic buttons, a red tortoise pickguard and bronze strings. Electronics include a single coil magnetic pickup, passive volume and tone controls and a ¼" mono output jack.
For 2018 the rosewood fretboard and bridge were replaced with purpleheart. For 2019 the neck was changed to okoume.
The M510E is a similar regular production with chrome hardware.
The M510EG was discontinued after 2020.
