The M312 features a dreadnought body shape with a solid spruce top with a fancy wood binding on flamed maple sides and back with a gloss finish. The soundhole is round with a simple black and white rosette and a red tortoise pickguard. It has a satin finished mahogany neck with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot position markers. Components include a plastic saddle in a rosewood bridge with black Ibanez bridge pins, a plastic nut, and chrome tuning machines.
