The Mårten Hagström series is a Signature line of solid body electric guitar models offered by Ibanez. It is the signature guitar series of Swedish guitarist Mårten Hagström of the progressive metal/ djent band Meshuggah.
Hagström's signature models are based on the RG series guitar but are built for his special djent style.
History[]
The initial model in the line, the M8M, was introduced for 2012. It is a high-end model made in Japan by Sugi. The mass-market M80M was introduced for 2014. Both of these models were shared with his Meshuggah bandmate, Mårten Hagström.
