The LE420TR is a semi-hollow limited edition Lonestar series acoustic-electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1985. It was produced in Japan. This is a rare model and does not appear in catalogs, the quantity is unknown, apparently it was offered to the German market as a special model.
The LE420TR features a semi-hollow body design with a soft Florentine cutaway and arched laminated mahogany top with ƒ holes and black and white binding on an arched mahogany back with mahogany sides mated to a set-in nato neck with a 20-fret ebonized rosewood fingerboard with off-set pearl dot position markers, white side dots and a matching headstock. The controls consist of a volume and tone, a rosewood bridge with plastic saddle, a plastic nut, black knobs, and black die-cast machine heads.
