The LACS5 "ROOT BEER FLOAT" is an Iceman series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2022. It was crafted by L. A. Custom Shop in California as part of the 50th anniversary of Ibanez’s US-based distributor Hoshino U.S.A. Inc.

The LACS5 is a One-off model which was sold exclusively by select Ibanez music retailers.

The LACS5 - "ROOT BEER FLOAT" features mahogany body with a set-in 3 piece maple and korina neck with a 22-fret maple fingerboard with abalone pearloids block position markers and luminescent side dots, a matching headstock with the classic Ibanez "spaghetti" logo. Components include a pair of DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary humbucking pickups in the neck and bridge position, a Gibraltar 1 fixed bridge with a Gibraltar tailpiece. Gold hardware and Gotoh Magnum Locking tuning machines. Includes Hardshell Case & Certificate of Authenticity.
