Named for the royal blue waters of Zuma Beach in Malibu, This RG was designed as a reissue of another historical Ibanez series also manufactured in the United States: The U.S.A. Custom series. As with the American Master series, master luthier Tak Hosono was also heavily involved with the U.S.A Custom series.
The LACS20 - "ZUMA" features mahogany body with .9” thick Maple top bolted to a maple neck, with a quilted maple fingerboard, 24 jumbo frets with mother of pearl blocks, luminlay side dots position markers and a black headstock. Components are a DiMarzio Air Norton™ Humbucking pickups on the neck position , a DiMarzio True Velvet in the middle position and a DiMarzio Norton™ Humbucking pickups on the bridge position, an Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, black hardware, Gotoh MB-500 machine heads and includes hardshell case & certificate of authenticity.
