The KRG1502 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1996. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the high end J Custom range. The KRG1502 was a spot model produced for sale exclusively by Japanese retail Musicland Key.
The KRG1502 features a 7mm thick flame maple top with natural binding on a mahogany body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset dot position markers. Components include a pair of DiMarzio humbucking pickups, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
The KRG1502M is a similar model with a maple fretboard; the KRG1602 is another similar model with different pickups. The RRG1502S is a related spot model made for Rock Inn.
