The Jet King series is a line of solid and chambered solid body electric guitars produced by Hoshino Gakki and sold under the Ibanez brand. The series was introduced in 2003 and discontinued after 2012.

The Jet King series was a sort of homage to the "pawnshop" copy guitars from the 1960s[1] which Ibanez, among others, produced.

The JTK1 was the initial model which was introduced in 2003. It has a body shape which is vaguely similar to the AX series or Gibson SG shape, but with asymmetric rounded "horns". It resembles a sixties Teisco MJ-2 or a FujiGen-built EJ-2. All other Jet King models, starting with the JTK2 which came out in 2004 have a different (but similar) body which more closely resembles a Fender Jazzmaster or Jaguar.

The Jet King line was basically discontinued in 2010, but the body lived on in the ORM1/ ORM1L Omar Rodríguez-López signature models. The discontinuation of the ORM1 after 2012 marked the end of the Jet King era.
